Hello there, my fellow absurdist. I dropped the newsletter momentum somewhere between trying to figure myself out and doing silly works. But we're back — on a Monday, apparently — a little different than before.
Turns out treating this like a job with formats and cadences and public workflows was maybe the least absurd thing I could've done to it. So consider some of that gone. No more forcing a Friday send. No more lab notes and artifacts when "newsletter" and "apparel" say the same thing without the costume. Less performing the process, more showing you my absurd world.
I reflect and shout to the caves what it means to "own the nonsense," and more often than not I hear the echoes coming back: "Give yourself room to play." "Bend the structure, don't break it." "Disrupt the cycle."
It reminds me what my great-great-great grandfather used to say, "Own it or be owned."
Ah. Liberating.
I love what I do and I'm lucky to do it. There's more coming — more to see, explore, share — and to everyone who's stuck around for this ride: thank you.

Here's what's been brewing:
Check out these strange portrait animal performances: The Rooster, The Frog, The Tortoise & Hare.
There's a direct way to support the nonsense via Ko-fi — think support/tip jar, not subscription.
Quietly dropped a fresh vintage cotton cap, four colors, smiley icon. Might be my favorite drop yet. Might be biased.
