When I’m feeling down (and it’s not a serious life or health issue), it’s usually because:
Things aren’t falling into place the way I want.
My expectations are unrealistic.
I’ve become too emotionally attached to specific outcomes.
Interestingly, this same pattern is also how I create a lot of my absurd work. I take the chaos and Frankenstein it.
It’s like making lemonade out of lemons except you’re using three cups of “it is what it is” and turning whatever leftovers you have from last night into a completely abstract meal… and somehow, it sorta tastes good?
I’m speaking for myself here: the brain loves to default to misery and “woe is me.”
It’s ordinary to sulk in the frustrations and streaks of bad luck.
To escape it, you own the nonsense and turn it into a weird concoction you can call food, art, or inspiration.
If you’re an artist. This is exactly what we do.

The Yolky Universe: Concerto for Drips & Dreams
Here’s What You Missed This Week

If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with masks. So much so, I might start ABSRRD Masks Mondays. Check out this glorious hairy luchador masks collection. Will expand.
Speaking of hairy… meet the ABSRRD superhero above. He fights evil ninjas using nothing but his legendary leg hairs.
I’m currently testing Grok Imagine (and yes, that’s Elon Musk in a sausage jar down below).
Check out my “Sudden Paradise” ad submission for Runway’s Big Ad contest. Will I win the grand prize? Honestly, I already won just by doing something completely absurd.
Water Faucet (on my forehead)+ Diego Maradona fashion + FIFA World Cup 2026 Inspired video. Check it.
Here’s my Artemis II inspired art.

Creative Works That Inspired Me

AI-Assisted
David Delahunty’s art always inspired. His GOOP Sneakers caught my attention.
A fun carousel of AI creations by Imagine That.
SHAKKA BLOKKA DEI from LoA. Hilarious singing drummer apes.
Human-made
Jym David’s tribal masks (3 Dimensional scultping)
Manooni Shop’s fuzzy creature. Hooked me with the butt.
Announcements

Still riding the high from Q1’s quiet launch and apparel drop — it was a win. Now entering Q2, I’m locking in a monthly production cadence. Expect more “Own The Nonsense” variations: extra caps, shirts, and accessories.
The Yolky Universe: Concerto For Drips & Dreams made it in Rich Klien’s AI Film History. Follow Rich on X here.
Buckle up. More loose, absurd product concepts are headed your way. That’s the plan.
Thank you for supporting my art and believing that owning the nonsense is the way.
See you next week!
